very bad game. 2v2 is full of trolls. the football game is horrible. mirror mode is like watching paint dry while being forced to play the worst preset deck. i had hoped after 2yrs of not playing this game they could fixed it but no they just 2x down on the worst mechanics.
do not listen to all of the "pay to win , boo hoo" comments, sure you can pay for pass royale, but other than that it's a great game, sometimes you hit a roadblock, but that's when you know to take a break

fun game. gold for upgrades is tough to come by. definitely emphasis on pay to play. like, greedy emphasis. latest problem i'm having. last two updates take me to store to update. then, update isn't available.🤦 can't play for hours. get it together supercell. you been operating this game for how long now??

used to be fun, seems like now everyone uses junk tank cards, mega knight etc. i've played for years and all the newbies just buy their way to the top. not sure how the random algorithm is set up but it seems to always pair you in a match with an opponent that has every card your deck isn't equipped to counter or their deck is every counter to every card you use. not even enjoyable anymore. put a card down and you can literally guess which card they'll be putting down to counter it. predictable

the community is toxic. card balance is so bad that it makes the game not enjoyable and i haven't talked about the fact that you can find level 10 player with level 12 card indicating that he/she is pay to win player. 2 stars because atleast there aren't any ads.

always interesting how matchmaking in challenges works . youre paired up with mfs who always have your counters and then as soon as you pay for the pass all the sudden its a breeze an you get easy opponents. really fn sus and annoying. fix your match making or at least stop backing your playerbase into a corner with unbalanced matchmaking and greed.
very good game. i've played since it launched and i love it. i feel like getting gold is a bit of a pay to win thing, as its rly hard to get enough to max a card, and imagine you have 8 of them in a deck. other than that, its really good, still a 5 star
game used to be fun to play, had to use strategy alot, and were paired with similar skilled players. but when you're paired against players who can bum drop all kinds of op cards faster than they should, and you get into a match like that 5 to 9 times in a row, it gets annoying. also it's annoying when you go against other players that have almost 2k more trophies than you do and obliterate your troops before they even get a chance to spawn in, or before you can even start the match they win.
okay actual review, great game. meta oriented and it doesn't feel like you can diverge from it. love the game however and wish there was more to the core gameplay like extra modes that are part of the core
i've been playing this game since it came out and i do have to say it is a fun strategy game. ive read a couple of reviews saying its a "pay to win game" but i absolutely disagree. its more like play consistently to win. i have never spent a single dime on this game.
people always complain about in app purchases but they are not nessecary to climb. they are there for convenience of those who can afford them, this game is designed for the long run and you have to grind it out to be succesful, even if you pay. otherwise great graphics and they always add new cards and events to keep the game relevant.
this game improved a lot after they added 2v2 battles, so you can still play without losing all your trophies. this game is definitely pay to win, but you don't have to pay too much. i always buy pass royale, it's very cheap and lets you upgrade your cards quite quickly, especially as it lets you get every reward from every challenge. the biggest problem with this game is that it's plagued with trolls. it's not supercell's fault, people suck, but they certainly do nothing to discourage it!
had it since it came out and worked my way up to challanger ranks before the updates. i returned to this game after some tiem. when i got back up on the game i noticed new changes; the clash pass, new cards, trading, wars and more. trades allow you to get the best cards pretty early on screwing over every other player. the new cards some are way too overpowered i.e. mega knight and electro giant hardly anything can stop them. wars aren't rank based. more money spent= more wins, rewards and etc.
the game is still solid. people complaining about level 14 tower, but with the upgrade reduction cost and the amount of free gold and magic items that the game is giving now the game is more fun than ever i never spend money on this game. i mean you do your boat race and you get legendaries how hard is that.
13級追不上還14級，躺平了，降杯順便，公會戰三戰直接贏了對手14級，另外等我花追到14級還有15級。

這個遊戲看吊玩家的技術，反而看卡牌的等級。不是充了錢的玩家，卡牌等級的高興，直接打無充錢的玩家
its fun up until you lose every match because of cards you don't have that go directly to your towers and can't be damage until they get there, if at all. there's no balance, strategy, or skill once you can send a goblin barrel, miner, and spell to one tower at the same time. the elixir cost on the best cards in the game is far too low and allows for spamming the same 3 cards the entire game. unless your opponent has the same cards and strategy, you win without even having to counter play.

the big negative that finally made me stop playing at about 6400 trophies and 5 years, is the incredibly boring meta. out of 20 games, 19 decks will be the same ones copied from webpages, no one try their own strategy and you will face the same few combos over and oooover. some decks just have one attack card and the rest def, making it incredibly drawn out and predictible facing those. others just have a niche powerful combo making it very hard if you don't happen to have the right counter.

the game is amaizing and it was definetly a 5 star game 4 years ago. the reason im giving this game 2 stars is because of 2 things. wild cards and mega knight. i played 15 games in a row in arena 14 and every single person wsd using mega knight and was extremly overleveled. this game isnt skill based anymore, its just based on who can spend more money.
a good game concept, but completely destroyed by pay to win. players who don't excessively spend money on this game cannot keep up with the gemmers and that really ruins the game. thank you supercell. really makes me sad because i used to love this game. but it is unenjoyable for f2p players😪😡
exciting gameplay and design to begin. but require some serious work in the gaming algorithm and match making, and some serious reflection in why this game still exists. after coming back to this game from 2 years of hiatus, it has clearly become more profit-centric rather than user-centric, cardlevel based rather than skills-based. this discourages you from playing as you can only sucj it up and lower your trophy level or pay to win. for now, i will be exiting the gameplay.
